- Research competitors and emerging robotics trends in Nigeria/Africa.

- Build relationships with universities, training centers, and companies.
- Explore collaboration with tech hubs, innovation centers, and grant agencies.
- Attend exhibitions, robotics fairs, STEM events to pitch your solutions.

New Product Opportunities
- Gather feedback from clients and market about what solutions are needed (e.g., automated machines, drones, training kits).
- Recommend product/service adjustments to the technical team.

Lead Generation
- Actively find potential clients (cold calls, LinkedIn, social media, walk-ins).
- Manage pipeline of prospects.

Pitching & Demos
- Present your robotics products/services to clients in simple, non-technical terms.
- Organize demos (with your help as founder/engineer).

Proposal Writing & Closing Deals
- Draft and submit proposals/quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure deals are closed.

Sales Tracking
- Maintain sales records and update CRM/sales sheet.
- Report progress weekly (number of leads, deals closed, revenue generated).

Basic Marketing Support
- Work with freelancer/graphics person to run simple digital campaigns.
- Manage social media presence for lead generation.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Follow up with clients after sales.
- Upsell maintenance, upgrades, or training packages.

- Documentation → Keep track of contracts, invoices (with finance).
- Coordination → Work closely with hardware/software team so promises to clients are realistic.
- Reporting → Weekly/monthly sales & business development reports to the Founder/CEO.
Hardware/Mechatronics Technician
supports with building, wiring, 3D printing, soldering, assembling robots.
Assembly & Fabrication- Assemble robotic systems, prototypes, and mechatronic devices under guidance of engineers/founder.
- Carry out wiring, soldering, PCB mounting, sensor integration, and mechanical fitting.
- Operate workshop tools (3D printers, CNC machines, drills, welding tools, hand tools).
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Perform functional testing of prototypes and systems.
- Diagnose faults in circuits, actuators, sensors, and mechanical parts.
- Repair and maintain robotic equipment and assist in iterative development.
- Document test results and provide feedback for improvements.
- Assist technical lead in building and modifying prototypes.
- Fabricate test rigs, mock-ups, and jigs.
- Collaborate with software developers for hardware-software integration.
- Participate in on-site installations, calibration, and adjustments.
- Provide technical support, maintenance, and after-sales service.
- Assist in client training during system handover.
- Maintain wiring diagrams, build logs, and maintenance records.
- Follow proper safety procedures in electrical and mechanical tasks.
- Report risks, hazards, or equipment failures promptly.
- OND/HND in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, or related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, and assembly of devices.
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret basic circuit diagrams and drawings.
- Team player, adaptable, and eager to learn in a startup environment.
